30th April 2024This is a great seat and functions well. After 3 years it has developed cracks on the seat above the front seat supports. We are not heavy people so the cause of this is a mystery. The warranty is only for 1 year and there are no spare parts available. So be prepared for a relatively short life expectancy for the seat.

28th April 2024Unlike many wood/MDF seats that have a plastic vinyl top, this is actually painted MDF so it feels better on your skin and more like a true wooden toilet seat. Bear in mind the seat hinges are packed in the closed position so you need to loosen the screws then rotate the hinges 180 degrees to get the fully extended seat position. There is plenty of adjustment to fit most pans.
