Water fills the inside

When turning off the tap by the button, water drops into the top and cannot escape. This corrodes the inside, and within a year the button has stopped working. Unscrewing it, and dabbing with tissue isn’t ideal, and doesn’t remove the mouldy water that is trapped. Gravity is against this design. We will now have to replace this with just a lever tap.
