Only the lid closing is cushioned not the seat as well. Shame. Looks good, but the close fitting seems to encourage mildew. We leave it up overnight which seems to solve that. Otherwise great, as was experience with Victorian Plumbing. Very efficient.

This toilet seat comes with comprehensive instructions on how to fit it. There are two methods of attaching the seat and I used the top attachment which makes replacement so much easier. You don't have to grope around under the toilet to fasten it down. The soft close action is also very effective. In addition, once attached, by pushing a small button you can remove the seat for cleaning. All together this is an excellent product.
