Vertical Radiators

Shop our comprehensive collection of vertical radiators. Mixing style and practicality, iconic vertical column radiators and their modern panel counterparts boast excellent heat outputs in unobtrusive designs. Prefer a landscape look rather than a wall radiator? Browse our high quality selection of horizontal radiators. Free standard UK delivery on all orders over £499.

Make the most of smaller spaces or limited wall space by adding a slimline, tall radiator which is wall mounted and runs vertically up the wall. Their tall, slim design can create a real feature piece if you're clever with positioning, making them ideal for spaces where wall space is limited like bathrooms, kitchens and hallways.

Vertical radiators work similarly to horizontal models so don't let these tall radiators fool you into thinking that they can't produce excellent heat output. Check your room size for the right BTU rating to ensure you get a slim radiator suitable right for your space. Tall slim radiators come in a variety of heights including 600, 1500 and 1800mm.

FAQ's

Vertical radiators are a great choice for smaller rooms, as you don't need as much wall space. Their tall and slim designs mean that they can be placed in areas where a more conventional horizontal radiator wouldn't fit, while their aesthetic turns them into a modern design feature. But what are the key considerations to make when buying a vertical bathroom radiator?

How do vertical radiators work?

While they may look different to a standard radiator, vertical radiators essentially work the same way. The only difference is that they are wall hung and, due to them being taller and slimmer, do have less length to draw up cold air for convection.

Do vertical radiators give out enough heat?

While vertical radiators generally give a lower heat output than horizontal radiators, this doesn't always mean that they are less efficient. For smaller rooms, it can actually be much more efficient to use a well-placed wall mounted vertical radiator instead of a standard one; it all comes down to how much heat output your room actually requires in order to heat it up and keep it warm.

What sizes do vertical radiators come in?

There are a large number of different sizes of vertical wall radiators. There are slim radiators with widths of 300mm and tall radiators with heights of 1800mm, meaning that you can opt for a tall slim radiator or a wider multiple panel vertical radiator - and anything in between.

Can vertical radiators be fitted horizontally?

While some vertical radiators can be fitted horizontally, this isn't the best option. This is because these long and thin radiators are designed to fit more compact spaces, while generating as much heat output as necessary. If you have a larger bathroom and can fit a horizontal radiator, this will usually be the best option in terms of energy efficiency.
