Victorian Plumbing Sponsor Local Kids Football Club

We are proud to announce a new signing at Victorian Plumbing!

Formby-based bathroom specialists Victorian Plumbing are pleased to announce their latest groundbreaking partnership...local kids football club Churchtown Athletic. The pint-sized Peles and miniature Maradonas will be proudly wearing the green of Victorian Plumbing across their shirts when they take to the pitch this coming season.

Churchtown Athletic are based in Southport, and play in the Hightown League. They have teams representing every age group from Under-6 through to Under-15’s and have over 150 children registered as active members. As a non-profit organisation, they could not exist if not for the tireless efforts of volunteers, parents and local businesses.

Our Trade Manager Kieron Delaney (who swaps his desk for his boots at the weekends, to take up his role as one of Churchtown’s volunteer Team Coaches) approached the company with an idea that sponsoring Churchtown would be a fantastic way for Victorian Plumbing to support the local community and maybe even help bring through the next Steven Gerrard or Wayne Rooney.

Managing Director Mark Radcliffe was pleased to be approached by Churchtown:

“We were delighted to be able to help the kids, we know it is something a lot of people in the local area care very deeply about, and without these kind of donations they would not be able to continue doing what they do.”

With kid’s activity and fitness very much in the news these days and with so many children benefiting from the Churchtown Athletic football programme, it was a great opportunity to promote a healthy lifestyle, and hopefully reach lots of local families.

This latest partnership could even be the one that gets parents and families off their seats, as they could score a discount by shopping with Victorian Plumbing as a result of this sponsorship.
