Gravity Fed Systems: If you reside in an older property, chances are you have a low-pressure gravity-fed system. Please note that this shower valve requires a minimum pressure of 0.5 bar. We recommend installing a negative or universal pump (sold separately). Positive pumps will not work efficiently with this system.

Can the smaller handles shower head be taken out of it's holder. Is the holder a U-shape or round?

Fitted with external pipes.

As mentioned by others this is a good quality product which works well. Delivery was fast and no hassle. I fitted the shower this week and all went well, even the temperature adjustment. (Read supplied instructions!) Not mentioned elsewhere is the fact that the supply pipes can be surface mounted due to the ability of the inlets to rotate. In my case the supply pipes came from the ceiling (I did not want to disturb the rather nice existing tiles) and I thought it may produce a overcrowded look. However everything looks OK. My only criticism/concern is that the shower head only has a fixed spray pattern. If a multi spray is required a replacement could be fitted at reasonable cost although it may not match the Victorian theme.

Very happy with purchase

We have used chrome pipe work to make this ceiling mounted and are very happy with the appearance of this. Suits our Victorian house very well, but would look equally good if you wanted a modern industrial look. Victorian plumbing were extremely helpful in answering our plumbers questions when we were checking the suitability of the rain shower for our small shower enclosure, and we were informed that the shower arm could be shortened to fit.
