The Ella 1400 Straight Hinged Bath Screen from Nuie, with its clean and simple lines, seamlessly blends style with practicality. This screen is designed to prevent splashes and spillages from your bath or shower, thereby protecting your bathroom fixtures and fittings from potential damage.

The Nuie bath screen stands at a height of 1400mm and features a hinged design with two panels, making it easy to open and providing quick access to the bath. This versatile screen is also reversible, allowing you to install it on either the right or left side of your tub. For added peace of mind, it is constructed from durable toughened safety glass.

Can I fit this to open away from the shower into the bathroom (and not inwards towards teh shower/over the bath)?

Hi Emma, The screen can be mounted to open in either direction. When doing so, the bottom seal must face the correct way to ensure it sits correctly on the bath. Thanks, Shaun

Does it come with a removeable rubber seal that attaches to the bottom of the moveable section, or do I need to purchase that separately?

Hi Emma, The product code for a replacement seal to fit this bath screen is 'RSS'. This can be found by typing 'RSS' into our search bar. It should be the first result! Can the larger peace of glass/scn be removed from its hinges and be replaced with another peace of class if damaged?

WHAT STOPS THE WATER FROM LEAKING UNDER THE FIXED GLASS SECTION AS THIEIR IS NO SEAL AND WATER IS COMING UNDERNEATH

Hi, the fixed glass panel would need to be sealed. This would normally be done using silicone sealer the same as you would use to seal around your bath. Thanks.

WHAT STOPS THE WATER COMMING THROUGH BETWEEN THE GLASS SECTIONS NEXT TO THE HINGES ITS NOT CLEAR FROM YOUR PHOTO

Hi, the Ella Straight Hinged Bath Screen will open outwards to a 90 degree angle but not as far inwards. This depends on whether there is anything obstructing it. Hope this helps.

Looks great, but room for improvement.

The fixed screen offers additional protection from water splashes and is easier to seal at the bath / tile junction than traditional full opening screen. The fixed pane would benefit from a restrictor stay as its only held on place with silicone and the wall bracket. Small niggle but hinges only open out, at this price point they should inwards too.
