I have very low water pressure so have a separate negative pump - are these showers ok to use with a pump?

Can this be used without a combi boiler also is it suitable for 1bar pressure.

Hi Nicky, The minimum pressure requirement for this Grohe Grohetherm Shower Mixer is 0.5 BAR. Your pressure of 1.0 BAR should allow it to function well. It can be used without a combi boiler provided the pressure is above 0.5 BAR. All the best, Shaun

Is this a half inch connection?

Hi Louise, This Grohe Grohtherm 1000 Thermostatic Shower has 3/4" x 1/2" external thread connectors. The 3/4" inch side connects to the rear of the bar valve and the 1/2" side connects to the water supply. Hope this helps. All the best, Shaun

This was purchased to replace an old Grohe shower mixer. Replacement was simple. The only thing We've noticed is that the 38deg temperature setting seems quite cool in relation to the mixer it replaced so will need some adjustment.

Had an old Grohe 1000 shower that must be over 10 years old. Thermostat was playing up so decided to replace the entire unit as the old shower hose and head needed replacing anyway. Surprised to find the new model had exactly the same measurements so was a quick swap that I was able to do myself with no plumbers required. Grohe are always excellent quality so very pleased.

Looks and build were excellent

the shower looks and build were excellent. But the Shower head actually reduced the water pressure significantly. I checked it by changing just the head and the pressure is good.So Shower head is definitely faulty.Order number ORD-0001601723-2614962
