Modern Kitchen Taps

I bought these as a replacement for our kitchen taps that had started leaking. I was pleased with the quality and ease of fitment. Definitely would recommend.

I replaced my standard hot and cold kitchen tap for this and it's brilliant. No more using the Brita filter for filtered water from the fridge and instant boiling water means we no longer need the kettle. You will most likely need a plumber to install as it's a bit tricky depending on your current set-up, pipe position etc. After looking at all the bits, I decided to get a qualified Plumber off Checkatrade who typically charges £250 to install. Money well spent though as you know it's done correctly and saves you the stress and hassle of doing it if you're unsure.

Looks quite high end for the price, the aerator is chromed plastic but impossible to tell, the taps have a quality feel to their movement. I found it a bit clunky to remove the spray hose (our previous one had a magnetic catch which is better imo), a tip is to roll the rubber washer down and it's then much looser in the holder. Another nice improvement is the hose rotates separately from the tap body, this reduces the likelihood of taps coming loose from the worktops which seems to happen easily with these type of taps. Overall, fantastic for the price but time will tell how well the cartridges last and whether it's easy to find replacements
