Does the mirror (bluetooth function) make a noise/beep everytime you turn the mirror on?

Poor Quality

Although this mirror looks good, it wasn't worth the £280 I paid for it, the sound quality is poor, very tinny. And after nearly 3 years, the foil backing around the edge of the mirror is rusting. And this is in a room with a constant extractor fan running. The touch sensors work well. The blue LEDs make your vision go funny. Also, mobile phones won't auto connect so you need to do this every time.

Great Mirror, Sound Quality a Disappointment

Mirror looks great, illumination is excellent with very good colour matching and uniform brightness across all the LEDs. The Bluetooth connection works well but the sound quality is at best poor, very tinny with minimal low frequency response and some unpleasant distortion at higher volumes. Appreciate this is subjective and it is a metal box that has to work in a bathroom environment but it feels as if little thought has been given to optimising sound quality when many of us are used to much better quality sound from even small smart speakers. Probably will only use Bluetooth to listen to voice rather than music.

It's almost 8cm deep, no idea why

I have no idea why this unit is 8cm deep with a huge metal box strapped behind the mirror. I could fit a router, a laptop, spare keyboard, webcam and more in there.The box depth may be an aesthetic issue for some if you don't like seeing big ugly tin boxes from side angles. Otherwise, from the front it looks nice.

Great Mirror

We purchased this mirror for my daughter, a bit sceptical about the quality of sound produced but I am amazed how good it sounds. It can handle most types of music with ease and is loud when needed. The light is lovely and bright and gives a great glow in the bathroom, the bluetooth takes a while to connect on initial start up but not a huge problem. Lovely mirror, glad we purchased it over other products we were going to purchase!!
