Olympia Art Deco Taps

I needed to replace art deco basin taps with the traditional mechanism which dripped, even when the washers were replaced. The H and C symbols had worn away and they were somewhat scaled up inside. These taps look exactly the same, which meant I didn't have to change the matching bath taps. They appeared to be sturdy. As other reviews have mentioned, the hot tap turns on clockwise, which is counter intuitive, and this is taking some getting used to. They dribble for a couple of seconds after being turned off, but this isn't really a problem. However, only twelve days after the plumber fitted them, the top of the hot tap started to wobble. I can't see a way to rectify this and will be contacting Victorian plumbing for a solution or replacement.

I found this when I was looking for an art deco mixer tap to replace an ugly modern waterfall type tap that I inherited with the house. This fits the bill beautifully. The guy that fitted it said what a good quality tap it was for such a low price. I am very happy with it. I didn’t purchase the extra bit for the pop up plug as it wasn’t needed so there is a hole at the back of the tap but it is not visible unless you look for it 😃👌🏼

This shower tap is brilliant. It feels sturdy and is a quality tap, comfortable in the hand with no drips. Lovely to wash my hair in the bath and makes rinsing the bath effortless.
